Feeling judged

Anyone else feel judged when they ask for help or advice or even pass advice on from things you've experienced? Every time I post something on any group (more so the last 2 or 3 months) I feel like I'm getting more people attack me for how I parent or even live my life. This app was supposed to be an area for supp...

1 year jags

My wee girl had her 1 year jags yesterday afternoon and one of her legs has gone quite red round the injection. It’s also hot to touch and her thigh is hard. Is this a normal reaction?

Boy hairstyles and hair cuts

How do you guys style your little boys hair? My little guy is 17 months. And has straight hair like his daddy. It’s finally growing longer and I don’t know what to do with it. Should I have it cut? I get a little sad when I think about cutting it honestly. He was a bald little thing for so long.

Just wanted some advice if possible! Dropped my little girl off for her first day today (she’s doing 3 mornings a week) and she was ok going in and had a great first hour but then got teary and they suggested I pick her up early. Aptamil Pepti preparation

I’ve recently had to switch my baby from Nutramigen to Aptamil Pepti so I’m a bit confused about the preparation. With Nutramigen we used to prepare with completely cooled boiled water (room temperature) but I’m reading different instructions.. to prepare Aptamil Pepti with boiled water after it has left to cool for...

Mam bottles

What teats is everyone using? My little boy is 6 weeks and still on a 0. I read online that a 2 teat is normally used when 2 months old but a 1 is still quite fast for him. Is anyone else the same?

Are whines and cries for every need and attention hard for your nervous system?

I'm a stay at home mom. I Understand practicing self regulation and modeling Co-regulation, but my daughters urgency is followed by whines and cries throughout everyday. I find it hard on my nervous system. I communicate my boundaries and what I can and cannot give but its really hard.

1 year jabs

My partner doesn't want our daughter to have her 1st jabs. Since covid he's been against all jabs. She is due them tomorrow as we missed her appointment last time. What's your thoughts on jabs?

What can I do?

My 9 (nearly 10) month old will not stop screaming. He screams during the night, when I’m changing him, when I’m trying to feed him. I’m now worried as he’s barely eating any solids and only taking milk. I can’t find any reason as to why he is screaming, temp normal, no rashes, etc. I’m at my wits end.

Need to rant! Why are people so opinionated when it comes to babies?

I've had a hard day baby has been very difficult definitely not loving this weather so we've been laying in bed most of the afternoon and I've just vegged during naps. But of course my mind has wandered. This happened a couple of weeks ago and I don't know if I'm just being over sensitive but I got an email prompt...

Teat sizes

I am a first time mum and I was abit clueless and didn’t realise I needed to swap teat sizes! My daughter is 11 weeks old and has been on size 0 mam and I tried her with a 1 and it went down a lot better but obviously she’s meant to be on 2! Do I keep her on 1 (I’m going to have to buy more teats) or do I jump str...

Is it bad to let my baby comfort nurse

My baby is a month old and she nurses almost all day and night long. I feel like it's the only thing that calms her down. I'm just wondering if there's such a thing as letting her nurse to often.

How does your toddler sleep abroad?

So we're off on holiday in June and my LO is in a standard single bed which I'm fine with BUT it's quite far off the ground. At home he sleeps in a toddler bed with a rail to make sure he doesn't fall out. How would you recommend having him sleep? We were thinking either putting the mattress on the floor but I can't...

What is my son saying?? 🤣😫

He says "Seebee" or CB, probably 20 times a day, for weeks now. I have no idea what it is and it's driving me mad!! I've thought it's maybe been the following 'Sleepy" 'TV' 'Sheepy' 'PC' which is what he calls PC Selby from Postman Pat. But none of that seems to be right. He hasn't ever watched Cbeebies, so it...
