Formula to cows milk

My little girl turned one yesterday and she’s still having around 4 bottles of formula a day most days, we may sometimes get away with dropping the afternoon bottle so sometimes 3 bottles but I was wondering how everyone dropped bottles with their babies and how did you transition from formula to cows milk? I tried her on 2 oz cows milk last week and she threw most of it up half hour later 🤦🏼‍♀️ she’s fine with it in her cereal etc

I haven't got mine on cow's milk and he's 14 months old he is much happier on toddler formula milk he refuses cow's milk but he has yogurts and cereal with it

Literally an over night switch, she was on 2 bottles at 1. Could have just been a coincidence with the cows milk but definitely try again x

My son also started weaning himself naturally with the amount of bottles sometimes he has three others only 2

Ok fab I’ll try again with the cows milk and see what happens, I still have her on first milk atm so would need to change that to toddler milk if cows milk doesn’t work again

My little boy took to it instantly, hasn't been sick with a single bottle either whereas with formula he was sick all the time. Have you tried it at different temperature, maybe she just doesn't like it cold. I've been told by midwifes and have heard from many other people that you don't actually have to change them to the toddler formula as it's the same thing. Only difference is the protein powder in them x

I just went for it and switched over night at 11.5 months (that's when our last tub ran out) at just turned 11 months I transitioned her to a 360 cup for her water, it took her a few weeks to get used to the cup but when she got the hang of it that's when I gave her her morning and bed time milk in the cup, I bought one for milk one for water. She is 15 months but only has about 4 oz in the morning and 4 oz at night, she will drink it warm or cold but you can always slightly warm it and see if that helps xx

We dropped to 3 bottles after her first birthday and then to 2 bottles at 13 months! She adjusted so much better than I thought she would and she eats so good now!

I had to gradually switch over because she was absolutely disgusted the first time I gave her cows milk to drink. We started off with 1oz with her formula and increased the cows milk and decreased the formula day but day. We didn’t actively drop her bottles. We started offering more snacks between meals and she’s gradually dropped them herself. She’s almost 16 months and has a bedtime bottle and occasionally a morning or afternoon one now depending on the day

I had to mix it with my little girls formula as she just wouldn’t take it and slowly added more whole milk and less formula x

We went straight onto cows milk a week before she turned one as her formula had finished so we thought it was pointless to buy another tub just for a week. She took to the cows milk straight away.

For a few days we did formula for nap and night time but first bottle was cows milk. And then we swapped the nap formula to cows milk all in all it took a week at most to completely change over but found doing it gradual helped us.

My lg became less & less interested in her formula so soon as he turned 1 we just switched straight away & there was no problems x

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts
