I’m currently 16 weeks today and I’ve been craving shrimp, crawfish, and crab legs, but my mom keeps yelling at me saying how I can’t have seafood at all. I just want a seafood boil. Is this okay during pregnancy I keep hearing yes and no? I know for sure raw fish is bad.

You can eat sea food. Just nothing high in mercury. But that’s like crazy fish like swordfish and shark. Even raw fish is ok in moderation and from a reputable source (:

Cooked sea food is okay to eat just don’t eat to much of it

I have had a few seafood boils, containing shrimp and crab legs and my little girl has giving me no complications. ❤️❤️❤️

Just stay away from eel shark stuff like that like raw sea food okay but only alittle bit of it

It’s good for your iron that’s way

I had crab during my pregnancys. Never had any issues 🤷♀️

Once a week is what they suggest! (Or at least my oh did) I’ve been doing shrimp, crawfish, lobster, crab, and salmon and kinda just switching around every week just make sure it’s completely cooked!

Completely cooked, low mercury seafood is ok! Even raw, sushi grade fish is ok, just make sure it comes from a good source!

Omg same here and I been going to get myself a seafood boil bag like every month lol my mom even made me a seafood stew just shrimp crawfish and lobster but like nothing crazy . I think you should be okay ! My mom also had 5 kids and that’s all she craved and we all came out fine lol just not like sushi or raw fish or eel and stuff everyone is mentioning

Yes eat the seafood you want as long as it cooked 🤍seafood boils is my favorite craving lol I love crab legs !!
