What age do most babies start to walk at 🤔

Hey everyone, so my one year old just refuses to walk. He can walk with help and with his toys but just refuses to try on his own. I know he will eventually but should I be worried ??

Hey Sara, my little girl started walking just before her 1st birthday but every child is different. I think if they show no signs by the time they are 18months then I think you’d need to go and see about it. He’s doing great by using his toys etc and when he gets the courage to do it by himself he will fly it!

Thank you so much that has made me feel relieved 😊❤

Hi Sara My little man is doing similar and taking maybe 1 or 2 steps by himself and he is nearly 14 months. My now 4 year old daughter was running at thos stage. Every child is different. According to my mam she says boys are lazier than girls. She had 5 of is 3 girls and 2 boys. I was told by the Public Health Nurse if he wasnt walking by 18 months to call her but she wasn’t concerned because he is making some progress. Your little man is probably being cautious and finding his feet. When he is ready he will go. Try not to worry. Easier said than done.

Thank you 🥰

Totally agree with previous comments, your little one is doing absolutely great and just needs to build on his confidence now. My little one is at the exact same stage. Nothing to worry about mama x

Thank you so much 💓

My little fella is 12 months and starting to get more adventurous. Walking between things a step or two. And Occasionally surprises us by nearly going for it. It'll happen soon
