Do you wait the 30 mins after using boiling water to add the powder? Or just as you’d do normal feed? I have both of them and just made it using kettle and added the formula straight away then cooled with Nuby but it says to wait 30 minutes to add formula so I was worried! Thanks x

Oh no I’ve never waited 30 minutes. I do it the same as a normal feed and use the boiling water straight away x

I use a nuby measure out my hot water in the bottle leave about 1oz/2oz in bottle the rest goes in the nuby add my scoops to the hot water then add the rest of the water when it’s ready x

ah great think that will be how I do it. I asked chemist and she said same as normal so made it and then after was reading and then seen! Thanks! X

Codys been on pepti 1 for 5 and a half weeks and I’ve always made it that way x

how do you know how much hot water to measure out in the bottle? My lo has 5oz bottle so made 5oz in bottle added powder then shook and put in Nuby. Interested to hear how you do it and why don’t you add all to Nuby? Just curious to see if I’m doing it right! Sorry just new to this!X

my little boy is on 8oz so I will put the 8oz water in his bottle then pour about 6oz in the nuby to cool down and while that is cooling I’ll add the 8 scoops to the water still in the bottle mix and then once the nuby is ready add the cool water back into the bottle and it’s perfect temp, I only use the nuby for cooling water not a full feed as you don’t have to sterilise after each use then x

Oh great ok! Sounds similar to the perfect prep then doesn’t it? I have both so will alternate when out and about. Thanks so much! Hoping it helps lo as he has been struggling for 7 weeks now and we’ve tried everything. Thanks so much x

yeah just basically mimicking that we also have a prep machine but it gave him really bad wind so we swapped to making fresh with the hot shot method☺️ x

What would you do?

If your man provided for you and the family eg. Paid the rent/mortgage, all the bills, food shop, children's things/activities, and gave you some money to pay for your needs, would you choose to go out to work or would you be a stay at home mum?

Specifically to mums with children under the age of 5.

Before having children, my partner told me it would be totally up to me if I wanted to return to work after having children but I didn't have to if I didn't want to/wasn't ready. I went back after maternity leave but I missed my child and quit my job to stay home. My partner takes care of everything financially so I am currently a SAHM until further notice.

I'm just curious to know what other mums would choose?

Calling for change to SMP

Too many parents are being forced back to work early because statutory maternity pay just isn’t enough to live on anymore. With the cost of living where it is, families deserve better support.

This petition calls for improved maternity pay and financial help for working families.

SAHMS- does your SO hold a grudge you aren’t contributing or was it just the best option?

My husband and I are trying to decide if i can afford to be a SAHM? Our baby is due in July and after maternity leave I planned on just taking a break (year or two- depending on when we are having our second kid) and returning to work after. I wanted one year off after each kid to bond and such. How did this conversation go? Any husbands disagree? How did you ultimately decide?
