Baby shower dates

My lovely best friends are hounding me for a date for the baby shower.

I just really don’t know. We have been give a date for an early c section due to medical reasons so I know I have to decide soon to give everyone notice but generally how long before birth do people hold these things?

I was thinking 4 weeks before but I really don’t know. Is that to close?

Also, is it weird to want guys there too? Like husband, father, uncles etc or is it just meant to be ladies?

I’m sooo confused right now.

Royal London Hospital maternity Triage

Has anyone had any experience at the RLH maternity triage (6th floor) and if so, what was your experience like?

On two occassions I have been there regarding concerns with my health during this pregnancy and have had an unpleasent experience from the staff on the front desk, seems to be always one in particular where they have been dismissive with the sort of attitude like "why are you here" "we can't help you with that here" It's made me anxious about having to ever go there again, if need be. 🫤
