I am 35weeks and baby is measuring 7.3lbs

Just want to know, how much did your baby weight at birth and at many weeks did you deliver?

Is delivery of 7.3lbs considered pre-mature?
Also, did you have a C-section for baby from 7.3lbs?

My baby was 6 lbs 7oz, and I was 38 weeks. I had to get induced due to high blood pressure

I was 40+4 and baby girl weighed 7.11lbs. They predicted her being 6.9lb at 36 weeks.

My baby was 11lbs 4oz & delivered at 38 weeks. Unexpectedly induced, ended in emergency c-section.

37 + 4 and I was induced due to preeclampsia. Baby boy weighed 6lbs 5 oz 😊 vaginally delivered

Size doesn’t decide whether they are premature it’s the amount of weeks gestation so yes if you were to give birth now your baby would be considered premature as 37 weeks is the cut off. I was 39 weeks exactly and my daughter was 6.9lbs. Also ultrasound scans have a high inaccuracy rate when giving weights xxx

My baby was predicted to be 7lb something at 36 weeks, he was born at 38 +6 at 9lb 5oz

Don’t always trust the weight scans, I had 2 scans one at 37 weeks and one at 40 weeks, they predicted she weighed 6lb 11 on 1st, then 7lb 12 on 2nd when she was born she was 6lb 7 when I delivered at 41+4

I feel like a lot of us have been discussing this for a while so I’ve pieced together what we’ve all said (water birth, c section mamas might need more). Other 2 x screenshots in the comments. If anyone spots anything missing feel free to add below ā¬‡ļø

C-section information

How long were you in hospital for after your first C-section? I am having my first C-section next week and would be grateful of any advice or information. Thanks

Birth options

Hello! I am 16 weeks pregnant and I am finally able to start thinking about my birth now! I am so 50/50 between natural and c-section.

I would love to hear your thoughts!

What type of birth did you have Andrew you happy you chose it?

Or what type of birth are you looking to have?

Thank you so much Xxx

Royal London Hospital maternity Triage

Has anyone had any experience at the RLH maternity triage (6th floor) and if so, what was your experience like?

On two occassions I have been there regarding concerns with my health during this pregnancy and have had an unpleasent experience from the staff on the front desk, seems to be always one in particular where they have been dismissive with the sort of attitude like "why are you here" "we can't help you with that here" It's made me anxious about having to ever go there again, if need be. 🫤
