Weight loss after baby

Hi guys,

I’m just over 4 weeks PP and my weight is really getting me down, I’ve started at the gym and I’m doing a lot of exercise and walks with my dogs and baby boy but I still feel really unconfirmed and self conscious of the mum tum, I’m just wondering if anyone has been feeling the same and if there’s anything that has helped you feel a bit more confident or lose weight that I could try? I gained 3 stone in the pregnancy and have lost 2 but the last stone is being rather stubborn, thanks😊

I’m feeling exactly the same 5 weeks PP. i think it doesn’t have that it’s summertime and the belly’s are so exposed! I’m going to try and cut out sugar and reduce my carb intake. I think it’s still so normal to have a mumtum a month after birth. Need to stop being so hard on ourselves! xx

Even if you loose all the weight you might not completely loose the mum tum as it take up to a year for your organs to all go back to where they were before pregnancy. Give yourself a bit of grace, your body's just spent 9 months growing a human.

C section infection

Hello! I’m currently almost 6 weeks postpartum. For 3 weeks I’ve been dealing with an infection in my c-section wound and it just doesn’t seem to be healing. I’m on my second round of antibiotics and also have a steroid cream but the infection isn’t clearing up and I’ve now noticed that part of the wound has opened slightly. Did anyone else have issues like this and if so, what help to solve it eventually? I’ve convinced myslef I’m never going to fully heal!

C-section Mamas

I had a c-section 2 weeks ago. My incision looks to be healing nicely and I’m not in much pain at the incision site. However, my stomach hurts to the touch above it. Is this normal or should I reach out to my doctor?
