Sleep regression?! Send help!!

My son is 2.5 and he moved in to a toddler bed in April, for the first time he started going to sleep on his own, was amazing! Then about 5 weeks ago we really struggled to get him down, we didn't change his routine or anything. But instead of the 3 stories, staying for a few minutes then leaving to fall asleep on his own (hed be asleep within 10mins max) and asleep by 8/8.15. now it's a battle, we can't leave him as he'll get up and eventually start crying and screaming (if it was just playing I'd be fine to leave him) so we stay but it's taking hours, like last night we tried from 6.40 (he hadn't had a nap and looked very tired) he eventually fell asleep at 8.15! This is one of the easier nights, he been up till gone 9pm before now and very often. Now and then he'll get sleepy at 6pm and easily go to sleep (very rare), it makes no difference if he naps or not. Also he's up between 5 and 6am! Doesn't matter if he didn't sleep till gone 9 either! His room is quite dark so don't think it's that but could be wrong. He's just gotten very clingy. Anyone else going through this? Or been through something similar? It's killing us off! Will he ever go back to a good sleep routine?

No advice but we are also going through changes in sleep. Taking muuuuch longer to go down, I’m thinking I need to make adjustments to her daytime nap, she definitely needs one but thinking I might need to cut it short. She woke up at 11pm screaming last night and it took so long to get her back to sleep, and she still woke up around 6/6:30. The way I’ve been thinking about it is there’s so much more going on in her brain now, we’ve recently potty trained, we’ve been through sleep blips in the past so I keep thinking this will just be another stage! 🤞🏼

Yes there is - it’s called the 30 month regression. We’re going through it 🥴 he used to sleep for 11 hours at night and now he won’t go down until 11pm and is getting up at 7am and not napping! 😭 hoping it ends soon. There’s a bit on google about it!

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts

Dummies

What’s everyone’s views on dummies? Are you planning to use them and if so at what age ? I am breastfeeding and my midwife said to avoid them as it might effect feeding but baby is feeding really well now and he has now found his thumb to suck for comfort ! I would prefer him to use a sterilised dummy than his hands that might carry germs but he is only 3.5 weeks not sure if it’s too early ?

Ebf bottle refusal

I want to introduce a bottle so my partner and mum can feed baby every so often but she hates it! Have tried breast milk and formula and am using mam bottles. She also isn’t a fan of dummies. Goal is to give her formula as I hate pumping!
