I wouldn’t. Way too salty - they get their daily amount of salt from their breastmilk or formula under 12m. The NHS says to avoid giving babies foods which are high in salt - corned beef is incredibly salty.

^Corned beef is under ‘things I shouldn’t feed my baby’

everything in moderation though. Isn’t going to harm

yes moderation and a balanced diet includes intake from breastmilk or formula.. where they get their necessary daily amount of salt from when under 12m.
‘A baby’s kidneys cannot handle too much salt and they may become seriously ill. Adding salt or sugar will only make a baby develop a taste for sweet or salty foods and sets them up to prefer these types of foods when older.’
You do you and whatever you want. I’m encouraging an informed decision based on evidence - these sites as evidence based rather than the opinion of ‘isn’t going to harm’ from someone on the internet.

that’s great, but if she wants to give her child some corned beef for dinner then that should be here decision really. I said yes as I have given my daughter it from 6 months-3.5 years ect.

Not really that big of a deal tbh.

correct... I didn’t say OP couldn’t. I said that I wouldn’t (opinion) and provided evidence based sources which state it’s too salty and they don’t need additional salt when under 12m(fact) so OP can make an informed decision.
Just because you did doesn’t mean it’s recommended or that OP should… ‘that should be here decision’.

Very salty so wouldn’t personally, maybe just a bite so she could taste x
