Hey everyone,
Just wanted advice really on how to change your baby from their usual Milk (formula/breast milk) to whole Milk? Do you need to do this gradually or once a year old do we just make the change?

Once a year old do it gradually.
Can either offer a small amount in its own at certain time of day and up it slowly eac time you do this or you can also mix it with the milk they have a bit more each time xx

I did it before my son turned one he’s one next week & we’ve fully transitioned onto blue milk. Whilst still on his formula about a month or so ago I started to introduce it into his breakfast and then an occasional bottle until the formula I had left ran out.

He absolutely loves his milk even more now

this is not recommended and can cause intestinal bleeding. It has too many proteins and minerals for baby’s kidneys and does not have the right minerals you left baby needs ect. Please don’t advise this.

I'm going to start swapping one breastmilk feed for cows milk a day (starting next week when he starts full time childcare - 11.5 months). Will give him breastmilk the rest of the time. If I wanted to do full transition then I would swap another feed the next week so it's 2 cows milk and the rest breastmilk, then the next week swap another feed and so on :)

they have to move off of formula or breast milk eventually. Gradually doing it isn’t harmful

it is. You move them off gradually after one.
