Transition from 3-2 naps

Hi everyone! My twins seem to be transitioning from 3-2 naps but I find it so difficult to manage with either bedtime being extremely early or extremely late 🫣 how do you do it?

Today they did:
Wake up at 6:15
Nap 1 9:15-10:25
Nap 2 13:30-14:45
(I’m in Dubai so timezone ahead if anyone was wondering 😂)
So they are doing pretty much 3 hour wake windows but only 1hr-1hr15 naps. If I make today 2 naps then they need to go to bed at 17:45? They usually go at 19:30… seems so early my husband won’t even be home from work!

What would you do in this situation?
Thanks!

We had this exact same issue and to be honest we stuck with 3 naps (the 3rd one dropped to around 20 mins) and a late bedtime of around 8.30 ish for a bit, because of how early he woke and nap length. We managed this until his third wake window stretched to 3h30 and 2nd one to around 3h15 ish. Our naps are never over 1h15 but he did start waking a bit later which helped, we now just about get to a 7pm bedtime. I've read it's OK to pull bedtime earlier during transitioning but for us it would have been too hard to fit in feeds and dinner and bedtime routine by the earlier time

ah it’s so tough isn’t it! I think I prefer that option as well because otherwise I don’t know how we’ll fit everything in and I really don’t want our wakeups to get any earlier 🫣 might go for a drive and squeeze a 20 min car nap in haha

We definitely had to use pram for final nap or he would fight it for too long. I think one day we took plunge when he woke at 7, and stretched his wake windows by 15mins or half an hour each for middle and last. We also had to go back to 3 naps some days if he napped short or was tired early. Was tough for a few days whilst he adjusted but was fine after that and bedtime is now creeping later

thank you! Glad it didn’t take your little one long to adjust. Hopefully easier days on the horizon for us 😅

We do 6:30/7:00 wake depending on her then her first nap is between 9:30-9:45 until 11:00 and then her next nap is around 2pm until 03:30 and the bed at 7:00pm

My girl is up at 6:30ish has her first nap 9-10am then second nap 1-1:40pm and then goes to bed at 7pm. If we let her have a third nap she won’t go to sleep until really late.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
