Sleep regression

Hi there ladies! So I was scared about this and I always thought this was going to be a hard time but man I didn’t really think it was gonna be this bad😭 I think it’s been 3 days and it’s hitting me hard. I cosleep with my 16 week old little girl and this past 2 nights have been a nightmare, I thought she had gas first because of how much she moves her legs and kicks me but her arms go along with it everywhere 🥲 she rolls to one side and I’m very light sleeper so I feel her doing all these things and she has a good amount of space in my bed to move around but she stills gets close to me grabbing me and even got slapped couple of times lol… the point is she’s FIGHTING her sleep even during the night, naps all day cries before falling asleep, and it’s in very constant active sleeping, last night she woke up every hour, her “long” stretch was 3 hours🙃 is anyone else going through this? Please tell me I’m not alone right now😅 I feel like I got a newborn again and I’m gonna start having anxiety of the night like before 🫠how long does this last? If you had babies before how long was it?

Girl! I said the same thing this morning, except mine woke up at 8:30,11:30,2:45 and 6am to eat. Since 7 weeks she has slept 9:30-6:30 I was like wtf

I’m going through this right now with my girl it’s been going on for like 3 days she’s never fought me this hard when it’s time for a nap or bed she just turned three months and she’s never been like this

the amount of toys around them trying to get entertained the hand out of the penguin toy do we all have the same baby?😂 I’ll try to get a picture of my baby cause I’ve seen her just like this too😂

how old is your baby?

The last nap of the day, try to keep her awake at least 2 hours before bed time. I typically do this by taking her outside or doing things that I know will keep her stimulated. I also know this differs for babies - my baby has been fighting her naps but I don’t sweat it because once bed time arrives, she’s down for 12 hours. Hope this helps.

I am in the trenches too 😭
It’s been almost 2 weeks now.. when is it going to end!!!!

I’m so sorry to hear it’s been so long 🥲

I’ve tried that but she gets overtired and she’s just miserable during all her bedtime routine and takes longer to fall asleep because of how much she has cried 🙁

At this point I’ve decided I’m not sleeping for the first year. Maybe even beyond that. I give up lol

I feel your pain. My longest stretch of sleep last night was 2 hours! It’s exhausting and idk what to do. I follow age appropriate wake windows and practice eat, play sleep. My LO doesn’t go down to sleep independently and I usually rock her to sleep so idk if that’s causing a major sleep crutch. I hope it gets better 😩

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
