My baby won’t sleep for more than 10 minutes on his back. He has been very colicky and his doctor told me to do tummy time a few times a day because he will feel more comfortable. A few days ago he fell asleep during tummy time and since then he won’t sleep on his back. I have to place him on his tummy so he falls asleep and then let him sleep on his side because he instantly wakes up. He is only one month and I have to watch over him every time he sleep. Any suggestions?

No no no no no!! Do not put your baby on his tummy for bedtime because at 1m he does not have enough head control to be able to lift his head up if he felt like he couldn't breathe! Always lay your baby to bed on his back and if he rolls or goes to his tummy on his own then that is the only way that it's okay

Mind is 4 weeks and at the hospital the nurse let him go on his side bc he was spitting up a lot. I put a little blanket behind his back and they elevated the bassinet. Now I do the same. I elevate his bassinet and put him down on his side

But my baby is not colicky . Speak to your peds about putting him on his side elevated .
thank you I will
