My boy was born 22nd January and he isn’t crawling yet. Doesn’t even get into the crawling position x

honestly it’s just happened overnight for us, he wouldn’t get into the crawling position before today and now he’s just been leaping around all afternoon! X

Avatar

Yes my baby boy has been crawling for about a week x

Commando crawling everywhere for the last couple of weeks. And she’s quick with it 🤦🏻‍♀️ she’s still going on all 4s to try and crawl but then gives up and drags her self, started being able to sit her self up today too whoop 🙌🏻

Born 3rd Jan and has been crawling for nearly 2 months now. She's pulling up to standing no problem and walks holding on to the sofa etc. 😬 cannot take my eye off her for a second!

Born 1st jan, been crawling for 2 months now, and is climbing up the stairs and stands holding on to stuff, got to keep my eyes onto her at all times 😂

Avatar

She want too but quite there there yet x

8 months old today and not crawling yet. Has moved backwards a couple of times and constantly rocks back and forth on his hands and knees so thinking he won’t be long xx

By boy was born 25th and no signs ! He can roll about but chooses not to 😂 prefers to scoot around on his back using his legs doesn’t even attempt the crawling position just rolls straight onto his back

Avatar

Yeah my boy born 9th Jan was army crawling for ages and has been crab crawling for a few weeks now. He turns 8 months next week 🥰

Avatar

Our babies didn’t stay tiny for long 😭

Avatar

me tooo he’s not interested

Avatar

Noo! My little boy spent month 5 and 6 trying to get onto all 4s and now doesn’t even bother. He can also only sit independently for a few minutes before he gives up and slumps into the pillows. Starting to get a bit concerned I won’t lie

Avatar

easier said than done but try not to get too concerned baby will crawl, sit etc when they are ready x

Avatar

my boy didn’t roll over at all until month 6, now he’s just non stop, he still can’t sit up himself either, I wouldn’t worry! He will do everything when he’s ready ☺️

Avatar

Commando crawling or rolling everywhere to reach things

Avatar

Yep mine started 7 months and 1 week! X

Avatar

Yup - mine started at 7 months! And now she’s starting to walk 😭😭😭

Avatar

Starting to try to walk*

Avatar

Born on the 25th, she keeps getting into the crawling position but not actually crawling yet, she does get out around the room by shuffling on her bottom, she has been sitting independently since 4 and a half months and she just loves to sit and watch everything! Xx

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
