Help!!!

Hey all ! I need some advice my LO has suddenly started HATING getting his nappy changed and his clothes I feel like it’s formula 1 pit stop each time I have to change his nappy he just cries and squirms and wants to get away. It’s the same when I have to dress him or get him ready for bed . Ive tried distracting with toys, singing songs playing with him all sorts . I just feel like he hates me when I need to change him or dress him or put him in his sleepbag . Any thoughts and tips on how to make this less stressful for us please x

My girl is the exact same!! When I’m getting her changed or cleaning her face after she eats or drinks milk she screams and cries til she’s purple in the face, doesn’t matter how soft I am or if I go slower she still goes crazy. No idea where it’s came from must be the age/ milestone!! 😩xx

Yeah think it's the age, I just try and be as quick as possible and distract with singing or giving him stuff as much as it works lol x

yeah from experience it will pass, you're doing the best you can just to try to distract and comfort and get it done. I think after the next month or two they will calm down about it and even start to slide their arms in to help etc! ours has always been difficult for dressing and nappy changes but now it's a whole new level right now x

I crawled after my 8 month old putting it in from the back just to stop her shouting at me and feeling like I’m wrestling a very angry octopus. I’m not keen on nappy changes anymore

We had this too - he cried real tears like I was hurting him. I changed to pull ups and doing his nappy (dirty nappies he does lie down for but it’s quick to rip the sides and change him still) and changing his clothes stood up🥵 it’s an art and I’m exhausted after!

Omg same!! I’m embarrassed to change her bum in public when we’re out cause it sounds like I’m hurting her and we both come out flustered from having a wrestling match!! Then they leak anyway cause I have to try and put it on while she’s trying to sit and stand up so I can’t get it on properly🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m going to buy some pull up ones tomorrow see if that’s any better x

Hahaha mines the same recently🤣she literally screams the whole way through because she doesn’t want to be laid down. Only thing I’ve found that has sort of helped is give her something to hold through out. Although she’s only like this at home… never out and about so I think it’s just a spoilt thing for my little one because she doesn’t want to be taken from her toys 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

My girl flips onto her belly 90% of the time so I just put it on from the back too, unless it’s a 💩 then we just struggle 😂

My LO every feed. Drs don’t seem to think it’s a problem the whole Muslim cloth gets soaked so much I’m using towels now. I’ve tried size O teats he gets really frustrated and still spills it out :(

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Is out of control. Her dad and I share 50/50 and when she comes to my house she is so mean. And idk what to do

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
