What do you do when babies in bed.

Hey mummas.

So recently I’ve noticed that once my little on is down for the night I almost feel like I’m just waiting for her to wake for a feed. I’ll sit and just look through pictures of her or clean the house.

What do you all do with your baby free evenings? My partners out quiet often so I really struggle with this time.

Yeah I’m the same as you. My little one goes down at 7ish. Feel like all I do is cook dinner, clean, either shower or wait till morning, express milk and then go to bed until she wakes up again. No longer do any self care for myself but also feel like I don’t have the energy to do it xx

My partner works 4 nights a week so when he's in work I go to bed at 7.30pm with my baby and watch TV in bed or scroll through my phone and I will be asleep by 8 30pm so I get a really good sleep (she sleeps through 12hrs) when my partner is home we put her to bed at 7.30pm with the baby monitor on and we will have a glass of wine and watch a movie and make a nice dinner

If I get an evening at the moment we've been watching TV (Bones at the moment!)
I've been playing Disney dreamlight valley on my Switch.
I went through a phase of doing puzzles.
Sometimes will tidy up, depending what the day was like 😬

At the moment, we've not really been getting evenings so I tend to just go to bed with the kids 😴 since bedtime with our eldest is taking hours

Baby goes to sleep around 8pm, I sterilise bottles do any remaining washing up then have an hours wind down and go to bed x

My girl’s falls asleep around 8pm every evening, then she’s in bed by 8.30-9pm, and I go to bed in the same time. This way I can have 5-6 hrs sleep, as she’s waking for feed around 2.30-3.30am.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
