Naps

Probably a stupid question but how long do your littles ones stay awake for before their needing their next nap? 🫠 my little girl is 11 weeks today if this helps x

My baby is random she wakes up in the morning, sometimes at 6 sometimes at 7 or sometimes even later like 9 or 10 am. I feed her and then she goes back to sleep. Then she stays awake and she goes back to sleep around 3,30 or 4 pm till 6 then I feed her again and sometimes she sleeps at 9pm but I try to don’t let her sleep at that time so she can make us sleep for longer at night. Then she goes to sleep for the whole night around midnight till the
Morning. By the way your baby is adorable ā¤ļø. I see she scratches as well as mine. I am always very scared on cutting her tiny nails… they grow every 2 or 3 days super fast 🫣. Do you relate it as well?? 🤣

Mine is 13 weeks, she's awake between 1 and 2 hours at a time but it's usually closer to 1 hour. She only has short naps though x

Mine is usually 1 and a half hours to the dot! We don't force him to nap he's just naturally done this. He's 10 and a half weeks x

My girl is 13 weeks and manages an hour in the morning before first nap. After that it’s between 1-2 hours before each nap. She’s still having 4 or 5 naps a day mostly about 30-40 minutes with sometimes 1 long one x

yeah I’m the same! I don’t have a routine at all i kinda just sing everyday šŸ˜‚ I see so many people with perfect routines and I just don’t know where to start with one hahaha x

thank you! I’m not even sure how many naps a 11 week old should be having I’m kind just winging everyday 🫠 and yeah she does scratch herself occasionally I tend to try and cut them whilst she’s asleep but it does kinda scare me not going to lie! I bought a baby nail care set and it came with a nail file so I tend to just file the sharpness away x

My baby is 13 weeks now and wakes for about 1 1/2-2 hrs, then has a nap (sometimes a good nap others a few cat naps) then again in the afternoon has her bottle atound 11or 12 has abit play then asleep for about an hour.
Our dsy pretty much goes

Usually 90mins x

Avatar

Starts at 90mins before first nap and stretches to 2.5hours from last nap to bedtime! Approx 4 naps a day - never naps more than about 4 hours in total! Our day is roughly:
7am up and play while I sort bottles etc.
7:15am bottle
Chat & play
Down for nap 8:30am ish
9am play
10am bottle
10/11am nap
1pm bottle
2:30 usually a cat nap
3/3:30 play
4pm bottle
5pm last nap
I wake him no later than 5:45 from last nap depending on how much sleep he’s had through the day. Bedtime is 7:30 x

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? šŸ˜…

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤔

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
