***I am aware of not putting baby on stomach or side because of the risks***
Am I the only one?!
Does anyone NOT put their baby to sleep on their back?
I ask everyone in the older generation and they never put us to sleep on our backs. I have friends who put their babies to sleep on their sides/stomachs.
My daughter will be 4 months on the 14th and isn’t rolling yet.

My 3 month old will not sleep on his back at all!!! He sleeps on his stomach every single night 🤷🏻♀️ i know his not suppose to but i have tried and nothing, he will scream for hours if i try to put him on his back

My LO sleeps on her belly these days and no matter how many times I place her on her back, she would roll to sleep on her tummy. I have made my peace with it now. She is 5 months (3.5 adjusted) and started rolling when she was 4.5 months.

one of my friends has had her baby on his stomach since he was born. He hated his back. I’m currently up with my baby because she is sleeping on her side. After screaming for 20, minutes while being on her back. As soon as I moved her to her side she calmed and fell asleep. My daughter sleeps on her stomach during naps because she sleeps sooo much better but I sit right next to her.

that’s good! Mine can’t roll yet! She will move her arm but not her leg or vice versa 😂

what do you put your little one to bed in? Mine is currently in a swaddle still because it calms her. If she shares the bed with us we just do a T-shirt or onesie.

My LO is the same way. Since day one he refused to sleep on his back. We tried everything and got to the point of someone just constantly being awake to watch him sleep on his tummy. (Hubby and I would trade off while he was on leave) We knew that this wasn't going to work in the long term so at his 2 month check up we talked to his doctor, he said since LO was doing so well at holding up his own head and was able to move his head if he felt his airway was blocked, we could attempt to let him sleep on his tummy(no swaddle so he could use his arms to push up if he needed). For the first night I barely slept, night 2 I checked every 2 hours. Then checked every 3, now we check every 4 hours to make sure everything is ok. So in my honest opinion talk to the baby's doctor and come up with a plan of action together that would help your baby get some rest and be safe while doing it. Just like fed is best for babies, rest is best.

thank you! She can hold her head up great. I watched her this morning on her stomach move her head if it got in the sheets. She always likes to fall asleep with her hands holding a blanket to her face 🤦🏽♀️ that’s how I know when she is tired tired! Right now she is on her side but I have her swaddled cause she fell asleep so fast. Not completely on her side though

Since week 3 my little one only sleeps on his stomach but on me! I sleep on an incline and I prop myself up at an angle, so baby’s butt is lower than his head (this way when breathing, doesn’t compress his chest but the weight goes down, and when I sleep I relax backwards not forward)

My son hasn’t slept on his back since he was 6 weeks and still refuses to now at almost 4 months. He only liked his tummy so I never slept from paranoia but I’ve come to terms with it now and just peak over at him every so often. Now he’s turning onto his side which has brought the paranoia back but for all of our sanities and need for rest I just let it be.

My baby always sleeps on his side since he was born, I move him and after 3 minutes he starts rolling to his side 😂

just a diaper shirt and we started co-sleeping coz of her rolling over in her bassinet (she would roll over in her sleep and then start crying and this used to go on full night). I am an extremely light sleeper and I breastfeed her during night so I keep checking if she is sleeping fine on her tummy.

nothing at all, he never liked the swaddle

Mine started rolling to his side the first day in the hospital. He slept sideways in the womb too. He's never slept on his back consistently.

my baby has been sleeping on his belly since we came home from the hospital. he's never been swaddled because he's been rolling since we came home. if i put him down on his back he wakes up instantly or rolls to his side/belly. now i just put him to sleep on his belly. I'm not gonna let my baby suffer and be restless when he knows how to lift his head and move it so he's not on his face.

same! co sleeping and being a light sleeper makes me feel better about my babe belly sleeping
