My daughter just started her first day today. I think she handled it way better than mama did because she was so distracted with the toys. She didnt even cry while I was there. Mama cried.
For those who have sent their kids to daycare, when does that whole separation feeling get easier?
I also have no idea what to do with myself for the next few hours.

My daughter is starting on Monday and I'm watching a friend's daughter that first week, so at least she'll distract me. For after that week, I plan on creating lists on what needs to get done around the house. I've even told my husband that he can make one for me, as long as the stuff is within my capability. If I didn't have stuff to do throughout the day, I feel like I would just stare at the HiMama app all day for updates. I'm grateful that there will be stuff posted on this app by the daycare staff though.

i have tons of stuff I can probably do around the house. Will I do it? Thats 50/50.
My daughters daycare has an app too.
Hope your little girl has a smooth transition next week ☺️

Oh gosh Mamas. I'm sure it was hard. We're not there yet. Still waiting for an opening. When did you guys apply for the waitlist?

I applied for this one while I was still pregnant.

I applied when I was pregnant. I think early 2nd trimester. I actually found my girls daycare through a Facebook group, otherwise id still be waiting.
