Just been prescribed a new formula and it says to mix with room temp water. How do people do this ? Is it okay if I boil it in the morning and then use that water for all her bottles or will they develop bacteria ? Help !

We put the water in the bottles for the day in the morning and then by time baby has them they’re cool. Water lasts 24 hours if in a sterilised bottle x

do you leave them on the side or put them in the fridge ? What about when you’re out ana about ? Sorry for the 1000 questions xx

Just leave them on the side as the water is fine to be left out. When out and about just take the bottle of water and your formula in a pot as usual and make when you need. Once made up lasts the usual time of an hour if baby has started drinking from it or 2 hours at room temp, I find nutramigen goes funny and smelly quite quickly though so I’m usually a bit cautious with the times xx

thank you so much !! Do you if nutramigen is sterile then if it doesn’t require the hot shot ? It’s making me a bit anxious x

I’m not sure just know it has a probiotic that can be destroyed with the hot shot. My baby has been on it since 4 weeks she’s now 6 months and has been fine. They wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t safe, don’t worry xx
