What is your bedtime routine with your March babies?
It’s taking an hour and a half every night to get our little boy to sleep 😩

Dinner then bath...then into bed with some warm milk and her bunny ❤️

Dinner + bottle if he didn't each much. Bedtime starts at 6.30 when we start putting pj's on, then book and up to bed at 7pm.
He falls asleep anywhere between 7.30 and 8pm, usually
Do put them into their beds while awake and they settle themselves or do you stay with them until they are asleep?

Wait until finishes milk...take her bottle and say night night (she waves nunight back) so that she acknowledges me leaving...and she settles herself down....sometimes immediately...sometimes about 30 mins after rolling around haha

I take him up, kiss, lay him down, and walk away. He's never cried, just looks at the book I leave in his cot, and he just lies down eventually and falls asleep 🙏

Dinner, pjs, boob and cuddle/book and then bed.

We do bath, books, and then milk bottle, which he falls asleep with. What are your nap and wake windows like?

We do pjs, milk, dummy and then I stay with him til he falls asleep. Patting him. He rolls around like crazy til he goes still and dozes off. Can take a few mins to 30mins this bit

Go upstairs at 6.45pm
Change nappy & change to pj’s
Read book (he has a comforter he will cling onto at this point)
Put him in bed awake & close door
He can take between 15 mins-1 hour to go to sleep, he doesn’t cry.
This has been our routine for around a year (I just stopped BF him at 13 months which is the only thing that changed).
He’s always been a good sleeper though, sometimes I think it is just down to the child though. I also did sleep training (Ferber method) with him at 12 months old but I know some don’t agree with that 🤷♀️
He just fights any kind of sleep. Getting very frustrating. He wakes up at about 7am. Will sometimes have a 1 hour ish nap at 12 (sometimes completely refuses it) then we start getting him ready for bed at 7pm but he can sometimes still be fighting this at 9pm 😞
All sounds similar to ours till the end.
We go upstairs at 7pm. Bath, nappy, pjs, book. If we put him in his cot even slightly awake he screams the house down until he coughs so much he can barely breathe. So we get him to sleep on our bed which he just rolls around and messes about for up to 2 hours before he finally goes to sleep then we move him to his cot. Just want to cut this 2 hours out- driving me crazy 😩 don’t get downstairs until gone 9pm then I’m ready for bed myself!

My little one also screams the house down if we try to put her down awake weve tried different sleep training methods from about 12months and none work she just screams until shes so worked up shes almost sick and then it takes twice aslong to settle her so I just cuddle her to sleep then put her into bed it can take anything from 30mins-2hours some nights but 9 times out of 10 once shes down that's her until 7-8am the next day. It's tough not having much of an evening to yourself but I've just learnt to accept that now and enjoy the cuddles one day she won't want me cuddling her to sleep

Dinner bath warm bottle of milk in bed while i read some stories
