I need some sleep

Hey moms, how do you get your lil one to sleep throughout the night . My lil one goes down about 8:30 and wakes up to twice between 12 am and 6am. Sometimes he won’t go back to sleep right away. This is taking a toll on me because I’m a SAHM and 😋the little down time I get when he naps during the day is spent getting some work done or doing my schooling.

Do you guys have a set schedule for your littles? Would love some pointers ❤️

Oh man did you just speak to my soul today. Evie was in bed just before 8, woke up 945, 1230, 2 ish, 430, and I think there was another one before 430 but I can’t remember. I WFH so I’m currently low key dead. I suspect it’s a tooth cutting through again or she had atrocious naps with her Grandy yesterday and was wrecked.

I feel you on this. I work from home and just last night my girl was asleep by 830pm and woke up at 230a and 530 then back up for the day by 8 while I was awake at 715am to start work.

*baby has day 2 of this week with her grandmother and we had lovely purple eyes. I better make sure she has a nice nap after I get off to catch up and be agreeable tonight

We used Moms on Call soothing rounds for our little babe. She knows how to put herself to sleep and get herself back to sleep when she wakes. Yes, it involves a little crying but only 5 minutes of it. I knew I didn’t want a CIO method and this was an awesome method that truly helped our whole family.

Now, I can put her down at nap time and bedtime still awake and she can put herself to sleep and get herself back to sleep if she wakes. She sleeps 7:30-7 (with a dream feed at 10:30 right before I go to bed).

It literally took 2 nights until it started working. She’s almost 7 months and she has been sleep all night since 4.

I can’t tell people enough how much of a fan I am of moms on call and their schedules and soothing rounds. Here’s a little post someone wrote about it…

Hi there! Mom's on call sounds super similar to what we just did. We did The Happy Sleeper book- sleep wave method. It also involves a little crying but just 5 minutes before you go and check in - i couldn't do CIO either and this was magic for us. Worked after the first night!

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
