Help with day naps

So my baby won't sleep in the day anywhere but on me. I've tried laying her down awake and asleep, I've tried a sleepy head, moses basket. Taking her out in her pram when she's tired (worked once). Unless it's on me she won't sleep as every time she lies down she's wakes looking for me and screams murder like shes in pain. I have thought she might have tummy pain before. At night time she's a dream to lie down in her cot, we do bed time at 6 she's asleep in her cot about 7.30 and other than up for two feeds between 7and 7 we don't hear a peep out of her. Has anyone got any tips or suggestions on what to do? I'm basically not able to leave her (not that I want to) but I'm having to carry her in a sling to be able to go anywhere or do anything as she won't have the pram. I've even tried waiting a few minutes but the screaming gets irrate and she can only be calmed by food. Any suggestions?

Following as I have the exact same problem, only sleeps well in my arms during the day but an angel at night! This contact napping is not great with this weather either 😅. I have managed to get him to self soothe when input him down a couple of times, I guess it’s just perseverance? I’ve also introduced a dummy 😅. I’m sure we’ll get there! (Hopefully) x

She screams even more with the dummy. It's deffo got worse since her jabs last week as she had a bad tummy but I just don't know what to do. I put her down she wakes up and then after another try she's over tired and screaming at me for hours.

I’m in the same boat

I don't have much advice, I'm afraid. But wanted to say it might get better on its own. We had exactly the same up until 5ish weeks. Nothing would work during the day apart from lying on us/being in a sling -and my little man would scream for life for the first 5-10mins in the sling before dozing off for a good 2hr stretch. Around week 6, he stopped being able to nap even on us, only in a sling or attached to my boob. Then it started to get better - once he fell asleep in his bouncer when I rocked him, once in a pram, then again in a pram.. he's 7.5weeks now and we haven't changed anything.. maybe it just gets better with time?

In the same situation with my 6.5 week old. She will sleep on me but constantly has to be resettled after each 20mins. Hoping it will get better at some point 🤞🤞

I have heard so many mums having this problem lately and I’m one of them!! It’s so hard but you’re not alone

Baby exact same age and same too interested in everything to nap! We have even tried his next to me in a dark room but even then it’s hard and today didn’t happen at all.

I don’t have anything that works either and feel as though I’m just entering this stage with my little boy. I wonder if a dark room and in their cot to nap would work?

Mines the same but lately we won’t even fall asleep on me for more than a few minutes then wakes up and wants to feed again! And it’s been too hot for the sling today!

😭😭 feel your pain. Mine has a short awake window too so feel like my day is constantly getting her to sleep

I feel so judged by others as well who seem to think she should be sleeping in a Moses etc when she only sleeps well for a good period of time on me. She’s only 9 weeks and I just feel her needs are more important than time caught from her sleeping

My LO every feed. Drs don’t seem to think it’s a problem the whole Muslim cloth gets soaked so much I’m using towels now. I’ve tried size O teats he gets really frustrated and still spills it out :(

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

My seven year old

Is out of control. Her dad and I share 50/50 and when she comes to my house she is so mean. And idk what to do

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
