@Kate honestly I woke with a headache today my partner is asleep all day as he's on nights so he's not here to help and all day its just been moaning and crying, chomping her hand that much she's making herself vomit, by time partner gets up and has a shower and food he's back to work for the evening and then I've got to do it again tomorrow and Saturday and Sunday as he's working 😭😭 SEND HELP 🤣🤣

I completely understand my partner is working 13 hour days atm so by the time he gets in my daughter is down for the night so I have no help 😩 I’ve just bought a teething mitt to try

@Kate I know the feeling my partner gets in of a morning around 7.30am and has to go straight to bed as he's up at 3pm, just barely getting enough sleep, he's out the house 16hrs, really not easy is it 💔 my girl is napping for about 20 mins at a time, she does sleep 12hrs at night so makes up got it but the days are just so long because I can barely move as her naps are so short, I miss the newborn sleeping eating and pooping stage it was so easy 🤣

I agree! My little one is such a busy body now to, his new favourite game is me dangling him over a bunch of toys so he can reach down and grab one, then repeat 😂 then he’s constantly fighting nap time and only goes down for 20/30 minutes at a time! And the feeding, my god!! One minute he’s a hungry boy and then just plays around with the teet 😅 got to love them tho, they’re such a joy regardless of how tired us mommas are 😍

Husband things it's only HIS money.

Hello. I have one question. I am SAHM and my husband works earning around £4000 a month after tax. He gives me £600 every month to cover groceries and household items which normaly cost around £500 or £550. We have two children aged 5 years and 10 months. So nothing much left for my personal spending without me going back to him and asking him for more money, which is most of the time met with lots of questions and me feeling like a child asking a parent for pocket money. Like I need to be scared to buy anything without him judging me. I do not have access to his bank account and therefore to any family funds what we hold. So I am just asking if this is a normal standard situation for SAHMs or should I demand joint access to his accounts and equal right to spend? Obviouly with common sense. Every big purchase would need to be discussed. But me for example wanting to buy new clothes or in need of personal items without me going to him asking for "permission". What should I do? His opinion is that he works and it is his money. So what about me? Am I not doing enough don't deserve to feel like an equal partner? Don't I have any rights? How are you handling finances as SAHM ?

Starting solids opinions

Is anyone else struggling with the amount of comments and getting told what we should do for starting solids? my baby is 5 months and iv been getting told to feed him at 4 months. Everytime people visit now it’s “have you fed him yet” or “he needs food” I honestly think i’m going to stop visitors for a whole months

Nursery

Hi all,
Just picked my LG up from her 3rd and last settling in session with nursery and the last 2 times we’ve picked her up, she’s been inconsolably crying. Do I ask the nursery if they think she needs any more settling in sessions or do I just hope it gets better when she starts going full time? She’ll be going 2 full days a week so she does need to be comfortable with them.

They said they think she’s tired when I did hand over but since we’ve got home she’s back running around my living room playing and being her usual self. In the car she did look tired and she’s had a cuddle and bottle since.

Baby dad destroying my things

I was done with him a few weeks ago he doesn’t see his child apart from maybe 1 hour on a Sunday occasionally he just demands everything back he ever got me the whole 4 years I knew him or pay him back all he got me was some clothes and a 1.2k car which I need to transport our daughter around
I said I’ll pay you back if you really need it )he doesn’t he makes 4 k months) everything else he ever got me was destroyed long ago after any argument we had by him

He said fine I’m not giving you any money for our child till you repay me 4k ) I am on universal credit and get 800 to live on)
Like that money is for our child… not me he’s so selfish
Anyway I work up today he came in the night to slash all my tyres and cut the battery off..
So i now have no car to take me daughter to appointments and nursery.
He’s so so selfish and evil I asked him why he did that he said it’s my car fuck you

Refusing solid foods

My 7 months old is not eating the solid foods I give him, he spits out everything. It's frustrating so I just stopped trying when he was still 6 months. Any suggestions I'm tired honestly.

Potty training a boy

I’ve started potty training he’s peed multiple times and pooped once. And seems to know when I put him on the potty he should pee because he tries to every time. But the issue I’m having is him knowing when he has to and letting me know. Sometimes he will with poop but it’s usually while he’s actually popping. I don’t know what to do to get him to realize he has to go. Appreciate any advice or tips!😊
