Not well! 😂😅 baby is 1month and it’s better than before he’s getting 4hour stretches at night now but also I’m up with him for an hour or two in between with feedings and needing to elevate so he doesn’t spit up. I think early morning gas pains are the worst part- he’s fussy and cries and I give him gas drops but I feel like between 4/5 and 8am it’s the worst.

My girls witching hours are between 10pm and 2am usually 😅 she just wants to stare at mommy and as soon as I put her down she screams lol she makes me stay up with her until she gets tooooo sleepy

Avatar

Can sleep for 2.5-3 hrs except from 2-4 she wants to play or stay awake 😩🥺

We go to sleep around 8:30pm and she wakes up somewhere around 12:30 then around 3:30-4ish and then around 6:30 she’s ready to wake up for the day. She normally eats for about 15 minutes and then falls asleep still latched.

my daughters witching hour is from 3 am to 5 am and it’s the worst!

omggg yessss 😭😭 he will sleep for a few minutes and as soon as I lay him in his bed he wakes up and just stares around. Unless he’s in bed with me and falls asleep and stays asleep

Avatar

okay same 😭 sometimes he sleeps. And other times he’s literally wide awake and gets so mad at me when I lay him down

Avatar

when we’re having a good night this is how it goes. It’s so funny when they fall asleep latched I feel like a paci

Avatar

take advantage and do tummy time so he gets tired out

Not too bad, if I could I would let him sleep all night like I did with my daughter but bring there's a case open against us (whole story🙄) I have to get up every 3-4 hours, he would be fine and gain a healthy weight just was told by state to get up every 3-4 hours at night to make sure he's gaining the weight even tho he's not having any problems🤷🏼‍♀️

Last night was the best night. My daughter is 3 weeks old today and boy oh boy her days and nights are jacked up but every day gets better. She only woke up twice lastnight once to feed and the second time was to get her diaper changed 🙌🏽.

I’m up every two hours 😩 longest stretch is 3 hrs once a night .

Pretty good actually he’s 3 weeks old and I give a 4 oz bottle around 9:30 and he stays asleep till 12-1 I give another 4 oz bottle and he stays sleep till 4:00 and then we give 3 oz and he stays asleep till 7 or 8 when we wake up. He might fuss a lil bit was mainly bc of gas we use gripe water and it helps so much and he takes a paci which keeps him calm . I’ve had 2-3 nights where he wants to sleep only with me holding him but so far not awful

Good and bad she likes nap during the day bed time routine starts at 8pm but from about 10:00pm to 1-2am she is up with no signs of giving in and that with bath and cuddles and nursing about 4:30am we nurse and butt change and then 6am siblings get up for school we nurse and butt change again and then we are sleeping till 8am and then back up
Not to mention I have horrible insomnia so even after she falls asleep I have trouble falling asleep

Avatar

im so glad I’m not the only one having the 10pm-2am thing she just wants to be held and look at me, which don’t get me wrong Imits great that she wants to stare into my soul or whatever but like girl I am tired can we do this during normal business hours 🤣🤣🤣

Avatar

Not so good, as you can tell I'm awake at 2:30 am. Lol I was going through the thread and it seems like it's the same with the others. Now we're both sleeping on the couch because every time I put her down on her bassinet, she starts to cry, and the cycle goes on. 😄

What’s sleep?😂 my son has extremely bad gas so his sleep schedule is all kinds of messed up right now, our goal is to just solve his issues honestly, sleep isn’t even the goal anymore.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Bedtime

What time are you getting your LOs down for the night now and how are you finding bedtime? We’ve had the sane routine since my daughter was a few weeks old - bath with her older sister and 6.45, followed by a bottle and ideally in bed by 7.30. This worked at first but over the last few weeks she’s been fighting it a lot and, with the exception of a few days last week which were a lot easier, it’s a bit of a battle to get her down and features a lot of screaming and resettling. Not sure if we are putting her down too early or late? Her last nap is usually a cat nap (30-45 mins) and finishes by 6. She’s pretty good at settling herself from a night feed, but seems to be unable to do it at bedtime, even with her dummy.
