Is anyone else finding their baby is waking more at night now & is wide awake for a long period of time & hard to get back to sleep? My LO is waking wide awake & can’t get back down for over an hour unless he sleeps on me. Any tips?

No tips but I went through the same and still am at 7 months. Sometimes I let him soothe himself back to sleep sometimes I let him sleep on me.

My baby is 7 months and I went through this phase.
It doesn't last.
What helped me was to simply give him was to simply give him a pacifier in the middle of the night, in the dark, and he would get back to sleep immediately.
I would also give him his cuddly blanket.
If not, I would give him a warm bottle (or your breast if you are breastfeeding, but in the dark almost) and he would get back to sleep immediately after.

Going through this, hardly any sleep last night. Kept waking and crying. Would pick up cuddle, she would go back to sleep for like 20 mins and repeat 🥱😴

Unless my LG was crying I left her to it, sometimes she'd fall back to sleep in minutes, other times she would be awake and chatting, rolling for over an hour. I found patience and not taking her out of her crib worked. She will eventually go back to sleep. It's draining but it's how they learn to go back to sleep. Last night she woke at 2am for a feed, I put her back down awake, she had a little play and went back off at 2.40 and woke naturally then at 6.30 😊

omg 😭 my kid woke up and 3 and went back down at 5:30 this morning. rage 😂

Yep, mine was able to sleep from about 8pm to 7am no problems whatsoever, but this last week I have been woken at 4am nearly every morning. Yesterday we thought he was just going to have a small nap at 6pm as sometimes he does, then stayed asleep til 10pm. I'm so tired 😩. I give him a bottle and a change and he will go back to sleep. He's never upset luckily. Hubby does nothing 😢.
exactly the same here and it’s been happening for over a week 😴
Thank you ladies, reassuring to know it’s not just my little one x
