How does your little one get on with picking up the blueberries? I’ve got an almost 8 month year old too and he can only really grab them with his whole hand then never actually manages to get them in his mouth as his fingers get in the way lol

he's kinda the same, though he kinda ends up grabbing like a whole fistful and then trying to shove it in his mouth, so sometimes he manages to get bits in. He does the same with everything really as he tends to mash it all up no matter what with his hands and then ends up with crumbs and tiny bits that he then tried shoving into his mouth.
I'm trying to not worry about how he eats right now, just letting him figure it out by offering the different shapes and textures and it seems to work as I know by his poo that he's definitely getting the food in 😂😂

I don’t think their pincer grasp develops until closer to 9/10 months old x

yeah I’m the same, give him loads of them to practice with and maybe one will get in 🤣
