Just out of curiosity, did anyone wait, or is anyone still waiting, until baby turns 1 to start the transition to cows milk? We still have 2 weeks to go until baby turns 1. Have enough formula; but not against beginning the process. Or did anyone start the transition a little “early” and then regret it? I know “wait until baby is 1” is a guideline and we all know our babies best. Just wondering. Thank you

Hi, I started mixing formula and cows milk just over 11 months, gradually getting less formula more cows milk. He turned one yesterday and still on formula mixed. I don’t think I will cut formula completely just yet as some days he doesn’t eat much and milk helps him, but other days he eats loads so give less formula milk and maybe just cows as a drink xx

My boy is 1 on the 24th and we’re waiting until this tub of milk is gone and then straight onto cows milk, he’s had cows milk in sippy cup and with breakfast etc so I know he likes it so don’t think I need to transition, he’s already on 3 meals a day and snacks and has been dropping his milk more and more everyday so I don’t think he needs it to fill him very much longer

About a week before her first birthday I started to mix half and half with her formula she's still on 3 bottles.
She currently has a mixed 7oz in the morning, 5oz of pure cows milk around 2pm before a nap, then before bed another mixed 7oz.
Her formula is almost gone now, it's been about 2/3 weeks of mixing it in and I won't be buying another tin will just go straight to pure cows milk then hopefully drop that middle bottle x
