5 month old sleep??

How is everyone’s 4–5 month old sleeping these days? The four month sleep regression hit us hard and just now my daughter is getting back to how long she was sleeping at 3 months! She goes to sleep at 8pm with 11pm dream feed then usually wakes around 2-3 talking and/or fussing (not crying) and then puts herself back to sleep until around 5 when she squirms around her crib and fusses a bit but then goes back to sleep before waking for the day between 7-8am.

Is anyone’s LO sleeping quietly through the night without waking? She doesn’t need anyone when she wakes, she just babbles sometimes complains a bit for like 15 mins then gets comfy and goes to sleep again. I’m grateful she’s doing as well as she is but we still get woken up by her sounds.

Really interested in everyone’s experiences so far with this!

My LO is 4.5 months and sleeping through the night 8pm-6am without waking for about 2 weeks now. The regression caused some night feedings and early mornings for a week there but seems like smoother sailing now

I haven't had more than 2 consecutive hours of sleep in three weeks now 🙃 before the regression he was only having about a 4 hour stretch but I'd kill for that back now 😂

Edit to add he was born May 1st

Same here 😅

My little guy has been in his regression era since 3.5 months and now he's 5 months and a week. 1.5 months of this is killing me slowly. It seems most other babies only experience this for a couple of weeks? Or is someone else out there also feeling the effects for a super long time?

I haven't gotten a stretch longer than 2 hours since 3.5 months. Please send help. Or any advice on how to move forward from this

is he waking through the night to feed?

Avatar

Yeah hw does. Before the regression, he used to sleep 4 to 5 hour stretches

My 4.5 month old only just started giving one 4 hour stretch again for the first stretch of the night. Then she wakes every 2-3 hours to feed and is usually completely awake between 5&6am 🥲

same exact thing over here! 2-3 hours stretches I’m dying for the 4hr stretch back 🥲

My guy goes to sleep at 8 but is up every 2-3 hours in between feeds and it ready to wake up after his 6-7am feed. It’s a struggle to wake up in the mornings 😅

My 4.5 month old sleeps from 8 pm until 6 am with a dream feed at around 11/11:30 pm. Sleep regression lasted for a week when she used to wake up around 3/4 am.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Bedtime

What time are you getting your LOs down for the night now and how are you finding bedtime? We’ve had the sane routine since my daughter was a few weeks old - bath with her older sister and 6.45, followed by a bottle and ideally in bed by 7.30. This worked at first but over the last few weeks she’s been fighting it a lot and, with the exception of a few days last week which were a lot easier, it’s a bit of a battle to get her down and features a lot of screaming and resettling. Not sure if we are putting her down too early or late? Her last nap is usually a cat nap (30-45 mins) and finishes by 6. She’s pretty good at settling herself from a night feed, but seems to be unable to do it at bedtime, even with her dummy.
