Can a fellow co sleeping mom ease my anxiety about co-sleeping once your baby is rolling?! I was never nervous about our safe co-sleeping before but now she just started rolling from back to stomach and I’m scared that she’s going to wind up facedown on my bed while she is sleeping an then start smothering her face into the bed looking for boob…

I started cosleeping around 6 weeks (he’s 17 weeks now) and he’s been rolling to his stomach in the bed since about 2 1/2 months… honestly for me personally, it eases me more that I am next to him and check on him every once in a while. It does make me nervous tho sometimes, because although the bed is firm enough, he definitely sinks in more than his bassinet mattress.
He has been face down a couple times, but when he has been I’ve given him about a minute and seen what he does. Almost every time he moves his head to the side and he’s all good! If they’re sleeping normally
On their stomach I feel like they know when to move their head :)))
You’re doing great, mama!

As long as they're not swaddled they should be able to lift up and move their head. Babies in cribs do the same thing.
this eased my anxiety soo much. Thank you so much for commenting.❤️❤️

We've coslept basically since we got home! I "c" curl around her and I wake up when there's drastic movement. Mostly she just turns on her side and curls into me. It actually makes me feel so much better with her next to me.
