Those that have their LO’s in a bed now from a cot, do you have a stair gate to block the door or let toddler freely range upstairs? My little boy can reach the door handle so just wondering how to go about the transition when we are ready over next week or so.

Yeah we have a stairgate outside her room

This one not yet, but with my eldest definitely a baby gate on the door until he was night time toilet trained or he'd run havoc. And it's safest as they are still babies really

We have a stairgate

Our little one is in a floor bed, we don’t have a stair gate to block her door so when she’s waking up in the morning she comes to our bedroom and snuggles with us for half an hour or so before we get up. Theoretically she could go into the bathroom or the spare bedroom when she wakes up but she never done that yet, she’s just happy to come to us.

Hes in a toddler bed, we tried a stairgate across his room but based on location his door would have to be open so we just have one at the top of the stairs. He just comes straight into our room when he wakes

oh these look good! Bathroom door is my worry as teenager always leaves his bath water in and the spare room is ohs hobby room full of glues and paints 🙄

We’ve just moved out little boy into a bed and we have a stair gate on his room and at the top of the stairs too 😊
