SIL (well broth in laws gf) has always made comments andsnide remarks to me about my parenting. She's always made mil and my sil feel like crao too with her comments. After 3 years I finally had the guts to start advocating when she made a comment about my unborn baby and have continued to do so since.
Now I'm finally standing up to her all the in laws have gone majorly weird with me. They're petrified of her using her kids as a weapon and stopping them seeing them. We never see them anyway as she doesn't allow it unless she's in need. She physically refused to be a mum when she only had 1 and mil was called at like 4am to watch her eldest as brother in law needed to work and she had no excuse just told him she wasn't dealing with the kid today so he'd have to stay off work which he couldn't afford...
I feel like I'm being pushing into ppd with how everyone expects me to be ok with being disrespected constantly... like why is no-one going to hold her accountable?
Can tou be pushed into the trenches of postpartum from family. I love my baby so much, but I'm finding myself being miserable due to the tretlatment I've faced pregnant and postpartum 🤷‍♀️

It can certainly make any existing post partum mental health struggles worse. I’m so sorry, mama. Don’t let her push you around. She needs to be set in her place if she’s going to act like that to you. You’re protecting your children not just standing up for yourself.
I already struggled with ptsd from my 1st labour. But today I feel like I'm on the edge and I'm so fed up of the remarks, making me feel like the worst mother ever for years. Even the comparing our kids and bringing my child down for her own gain. But I can't grasp why everyone now has an issue with me just cause I'm done with the disrespect x

Don’t listen to anybody else if you need to stand up for yourself, you stand up for yourself because no one can protect your peace except for yourself and if they cannot see that that is their problem, not yours and Tyler significant other that too if no one can see it then bye-bye Not your problem

Tell not Tyler*
my partner fully supports me and has told his family straight that he expects me to say something. X
