Tantrums and emotions

Is anyone else really struggling with tantrums and emotions? My LG is having the worst meltdowns iv ever seen. We are currently on holiday and are tempted to go home as it’s getting us down so
Much.

You say no or take something away that she shouldn’t be playing with and world war 3 starts. I try to remain calm and keep her safe but she has started scratching her arms and throwing herself around that she then hits her head making the situation 10 times worse 😩

I honestly feel like the worst mum at the minute as I really do not know what to do. The meltdowns can last for 10-15 minutes and by the end of them
We are at breaking point.

Does anyone have something similar going on or any suggestions with what I can do to help x

I have the same issue and pick my battles, and stick by ‘dangerous playing safely’. They need to figure out certain things for themselves.
I have also found that being near her/holding her and taking swap breaths myself helps. Also going outside in the garden seems to quickly change her mood xx

I have head that over stimulatin can cause tantrums. Is being away too much for her?
Is she having too much screen time(no judgement, some weeks we really rely on mrs Rachel!!)xx

I think it is pretty normal at this age. My little girl is the same if I take something from her. It works much better if I give her a choice like " that's dangerous. You can leave it on the floor or give it to mummy "

My 18 month old LG has major tantrums when she is extremely tired (but she refuses to sleep in the pram). Honestly the looks I have received from people is crazy 😂😅 although my child definitely pushes the boundaries, I stop her from doing what she’s not supposed to, allow her to have her tantrum but offer her a cuddle and get down to her level and normally does calm her. It’s sooo normal (but so frustrating) as they can’t communicate their feelings properly, so they have a melt down instead 😭😂

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
