Nursery ..

If you’re entitled to 15h funding at 2yo, and you only use those 15h 38 weeks of the year (or some do less hours spread over 52 weeks) then that’s the only way to not pay anything- even then some nurseries charge extra for things like meals or nappies etc.
I don’t think you’re likely to find it for free.

From April they're introducing 30hrs for 2 years if entitled. We don't know what that entails yet though. It's very unlikely that a nursery will be fully free as like Chloe said they tend to charge for meals and ask you to provide nappies. Some may request a packed lunch but a lot offer meals so the children have the same unless they have dietary requirements. You tend to find children eat food at nursery that they refuse at home, possibly as they see other children eat the same meals.

The nursery I'm putting my girl in when she turns 2 in April does funding for 2 year olds, I'm sure most do it, I guess you could just ring them up, I think it's something like £2.50 for her meals tho if I don't send her in with a packed lunch
