Rough day.

He’s the cutest little cherub 💙 I know it’s a lot but a diagnosis makes it so much easier to access all the therapies. He will thrive! Def look into speech and OT to help with sensory needs :)

Yeah, he had his evaluation today. He’s 19 months with no words. I have a follow up meeting next week. I worked for many years as an ABA therapist. I’m just frazzled that he might not catch up. And I know it’s no big deal if he does or doesn’t it’s just stressful thinking of all the stuff that we might have to go through.

I understand how it feels! My son was diagnosed with autism, global developmental delay and I think one other thing. My sons sensory issues are so bad that he has to be on a toddler formula because he refuses to eat real food. Occupational and physical therapy have really helped him thought and I’m hopeful he will be crawling right after his 2 birthday!

My son has speech delay and a sensory processing disorder. He was diagnosed at 18 months. He is 12 now and thriving. He’s kind, musical, intelligent… the only way it held him back was socially, when he was young and other kids didn’t understand him but now he has friends. He is still in therapies and has an IEP. There’s light at the end of the tunnel 💕
