Stop breastfeeding

Hi! I need advice on two topics.

1-how do *easily* quit nursing my two year old son? He has only given me one full night of sleep since he’s been born, he still wakes up at least 3 times a night (to nurse) and once he’s up for the day around 6-7 he will just lay on top of me nursing side to side till I get out of bed. I’m just exhausted, mentally, emotionally, and physically, I want my body back. Don’t get me wrong I’m so thankful we’ve made it this far and for everything my body has done to nourish him. Also, while he nurses he is touching my opposite nipple the entire time. I’m just touched out & exhausted 🫠🥲

2- my three year old was fully potty trained the last month or so she has decided she no longer wants to go #2 and will just go in her underwear no matter where we are at and when and idk how to get her back to going on the toilet 🫠😩

I completely understand where you’re coming from girly. My daughter breastfed till she was 19 months old and the only reason she stopped is because when I got pregnant with my son my milk completely went away. She refused a binki or a bottle completely. I hate to say this too but it’s not going to be easy he’s not going to like it but you’ve got this and you have to remind yourself how bad you want him to stop nursing and push through. I tried to wean my daughter at 13 months but it didn’t work for us at the time. I gave her almond milk and it completely made her break out in hives. What I would suggest is that first time in the morning when he would nurse is to give him a cuppy with warm milk instead of nursing and do not give him boobie. And continue that same no boobie the next morning. Once he is finally okay with not having boobie during the morning feeding anymore, move to the next feeding so say he nurses 3 hours later, cut that feeding and continue doing that until you have

Completely eliminated all day feedings and then do the same at night. You don’t have to cut him cold turkey off boobie cause that’s really hard to do. You can try and put some apple cider vinegar on your nipples as well to show him boobies don’t taste good anymore. I really hope this helps. Going on walks helped us eliminate certain times my daughter would get boob cause she had a cuppy and she would fall asleep on the walks. Just remember mamas you got this and if you have mom guilt like I did, you are still a person to outside of being a mommy and it’s completely okay for you to want your body back! Go luck mamas you got this ❤️

Cut one nursing session out each day. Make sure you're outside during the day and give him snacks. For your 3 year old, it's a regression and you may need to do 3 days in the house with nothing on the bottom.

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
