Nap refusal

Anyone else got a baby that’s refusing to nap this morning? Just managed to get my little one asleep after trying since 8:30!! 😫 He woke up immediately 4 times after I put him down so now I’ve given in and contact napping. 😮‍💨

Every day since he was born 🙃 even when I contact nap. Send help

oh gosh!!! We’ve only had the last 3 days of being able to put him down for a nap but this morning he was having none of it!

I think they get like that around this age so don’t worry! If he was sleeping well before I’m sure he’ll eventually go back to that, they just change as they go through leaps, growth spurts etc and sometimes their vaccines can make them more cuddly. I’d say enjoy the cuddles as it’ll pass! Mine would only sleep on me say and night for the first 8 weeks and I’d still have to fight him to. Now he sleeps in his next to me at night with wakings but day time is sling only, still with a battle!

Yes! Napping is becoming such a chore at the minute 🤦🏼‍♀️ managed to get my little one to have a nap only for him to wake up 20 minutes later! Now I have one over tired baby who keeps screaming and won’t settle! Send help 🙄

Could be the 4 month regression! Sometimes they come a little early

I asked about this at the doctor and they said they start needing less sleep mine sleeps 7-7 at night so they said he only really needs 3 naps a day now🙈

Isn't this called sleep regression? I could be talking complete bolocks but that's my thought. It won't last forever Hun. Maybe let baby cry a bit. It will tier him out. It's horrible to listen to but as long as they are: not in pain, fed and nappy changed, an ok temperature and comfy clothes, I'm sure baby will fall asleep after a bit of a cry.

how long are his wake windows / naps? X

Our LO is napping but for not long enough, 10 minutes sometimes. He wakes up tired and grumpy. If I try and put him down he thrashes his arms and legs and knocking his dummy out with his fists.

My LO every feed. Drs don’t seem to think it’s a problem the whole Muslim cloth gets soaked so much I’m using towels now. I’ve tried size O teats he gets really frustrated and still spills it out :(

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

My seven year old

Is out of control. Her dad and I share 50/50 and when she comes to my house she is so mean. And idk what to do

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
