Thoughts ? Ollie the owl sleep aid

Worth the money? I’ve seen Ewan the sheep also but I prefer this one as I’ve heard better things !

I bought one of these for a friend as it was on her baby shower list, she said she was really pleased with it

Personally I never think they are loud enough but mine have been very fussy. I got the dream egg off Amazon and love it

I was going to get this for my daughter but ended up getting Ewan the sheep unfortunately it was a big waste of time as my daughter doesn't pay attention to it. So I've had to buy a different white noise machine that only stays in the bedroom we only use it for bedtime not napping xx

We have the “pip the panda” sleep aid, same thing just different animal 🤣 best thing ever! Helps my daughter self settle and when she wriggles or moves in the night it sets off again so helps her stay asleep

I had Ewan which was OK. I REALLY rate the Tommee Tippee Dream maker. We begin using it at 8 weeks and when my baby wakes up it activates the pink noise (maybe red noise!) and the red light. The red light produces more melatonin in their body which helps them to sleep. I don’t need to settle him as he settles himself. I know what time he gets asked for a feed and only get him up then. X

Not very loud and only lasts 20 mins, but the cry sensor is good. We use a louder one to go to sleep that stays on for an hour, but then have this on in the night for if he stirs it settles him back to sleep. The travel one is also good for the car / pram

We got an ollie from Barnados for a tenner & it’s been magic for our LO. The water sound bit is like an off switch for her.
They are quite big so if you think you’ll want to take it places the mini might be better. The mini also has cry sensor for all sounds but the big one only works for some with the cry sensor.

Personally I like my battery powered sleep machine better than my travel usb one bc then I don’t have to remember to charge it when I’m sleep deprived haha

my LG has this sometimes she goes to sleep with it but think it all depends on the baby for some it works others its no different

We had a Ewan but it didn’t stay on for long enough, we use a dream egg the small one and it is fab! The small one comes with a ring so can take on the pram too ☺️

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Struggling in the 4 month regression

How are people getting out of the 4 month regression? I’ve been looking it up and it says I need to be trying to put him down drowsy but awake but this does not work for my LO. Every time we do this he ends up being wide awake and after almost an hour of trying we have to contact nap/rock to sleep. I want to avoid rocking to sleep because now when he wakes up in the night he needs to be rocked back to sleep which he never used to need.

Nights are constantly broken because we are up 2-3 times to rock him back to sleep. Please give me your tips on how to survive this and how to get out of this!! Constantly feel like I’m failing and doing something wrong
