It’ll be oat growing up milk , I’ve been using soya growing up milk

It has to be fortified, so any of the barista ones are fine, and the growing up ones

Ah ok because when I spoke to the health visitor she said anyone was fine that’s full fat I’m so confused🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m under a dietcian as my baby has cmpa, and I was told it has to be fortified, you can tell as the ingredients will have added vitamins in it

I use the alpro oat growing up milk for my Little girl as she has a cows milk protein allergy.

yeah alpro oat growing up milk! my girl was on kendamil stage 1, then i tried giving her sma plants grow but she hated it, tried mixing it but too much hassle, put her on kendamil stage 3 but had two episodes of really bad constipation (tmi but it was rock solid & getting stuck half way out) i switched her to the alpro oat growing up, she took to it straight away & seems better so far, let’s pray the constipation goes🙏🏾.

yeah that one’s all good! Barista ones are fortified!

i’m not 100% sure, but i’d assume for the time being & as per other comments it should be fine, your better off checking boots or ordering the growing up milk because your more likely to get it, also i’ve seen that tesco don’t seem to do it in store, sainsbury’s say they do, as well as morrisons & asda, but i know 100% boots have it!x

Avatar

Thank you for all your help guys I just had a gut feeling it wasn’t right thank god he was only on the other one a day! Will stock up on the alpro childrens one seems really hard to get the oat one! Didn’t have any problems getting the soya one!x

Avatar

I know Morrisons have the children’s one and have a deal 3 for £4.50 also in my Tesco they put the children’s oat milk in the same place as the eggs. I only found it because I needed eggs, it’s not refrigerated in Tesco, I hope this helps.

thank you Jasmyn all the non fridged milks are next to the eggs in my tesco c

8 week immunisations

My 8 week old has his first set of injections tomorrow and I’m abit nervous. Does anyone have any advice for after the jabs? I know they get a temp after so have got some calpol to give just before hand. Should I put him to bed in less clothing to make sure he doesn’t get too hot? Any tips from your experience with first set of immunisations? Am I worrying more than I need to? 😅

11 month old constantly standing in cot

Please tell me someone has some advice for this cause wow it’s trying. My almost 11 month old is fully on the move now and his new favourite thing is repeatedly pulling to stand in his cot. The problem is that he wears a sleep sack (mainly so his legs don’t get stuck between the bars tbh lol) so he’s not stable enough to lower himself down. So earlier he fell backwards and hit is head and now we feel like we can’t just leave him to it. Typically it’s his first full day at nursery tomorrow and my first day back at work IT’S LIKE HE KNOWS!!
Please tell me someone has some tips. Currently we are quietly placing him back on his back every time but he just keeps doing it! 🤣🤡

Took 9 week old to a family party where there was loud music and she was next to the speaker for most of the time (about 3 hours). She slept through most of it. Do you think she has hearing loss from this?

Freaking out right now :(

Bedtime

What time are you getting your LOs down for the night now and how are you finding bedtime? We’ve had the sane routine since my daughter was a few weeks old - bath with her older sister and 6.45, followed by a bottle and ideally in bed by 7.30. This worked at first but over the last few weeks she’s been fighting it a lot and, with the exception of a few days last week which were a lot easier, it’s a bit of a battle to get her down and features a lot of screaming and resettling. Not sure if we are putting her down too early or late? Her last nap is usually a cat nap (30-45 mins) and finishes by 6. She’s pretty good at settling herself from a night feed, but seems to be unable to do it at bedtime, even with her dummy.
