Not looking to get bashed! I already regret my decision so much and am mad at myself for doing it. My question is:
Any mom’s on here tried it, it didn’t work, and still have a healthy baby even if baby passed meconium??

Out of curiosity what is midwives brew? x
I didn’t make the exact concoction (it can be easily googled) I just did raspberry leaf tea and castor oil

I am not sure about the accuracy of this but maybe try almond butter or similar? I think it’s supposed to help your body with the castor oil. I’m not sure about this but worth a try maybe, and it can’t hurt at least
But I wouldn’t panic overall just make sure to stay hydrated

oh nooo. I know I'm not the target audience because I haven't given birth yet so if you're familiar with everything I'm saying go ahead and ignore me my feelings won't be hurt 😂 but I've never tried it with castor oil, only the raspberry leaf tea by itself, and I know for a lot of people actually it can cause them to have an upset stomach on it's own. It still does its job as a uterine tonic (but I don't believe it's ever actually Proven to induce labor, just strengthen your uterus to improve labor outcomes. Some people do end up getting cramps and contractions because of the uterus's response to it though ) !! But I've heard a lot that it can definitely can be rough on some stomachs so you are not alone in that!! I wouldn't worry about it too much because that is such a common response to it 💛
I’m just so sad. I keep looking at different articles and everything negative that can happen to the baby. I can’t stop crying. I just wish I could go back and not have drank it in the first place. I’ve been chugging water like crazy hoping that will help.

I think if you consulted your doctor and she looked into it and did not advise you against it, there probably isn't anything to worry about! Especially if you only used a mix of Raspberry Leaf Tea and Castor Oil, both of those I believe just stimulate the uterus rather than softening the cervix or anything 💛💛 which is 1) totally safe as long as you are full term (which it seems like you are, otherwise your OB should've said something) and 2) Definitely reason for your stomach to go haywire haha This combo is really only dangerous for baby if it actually starts labor before the baby is ready, and it hasn't! So until your tummy is settled, I would just relax (for you and your little ones sake!), drink lots of water, and eat some safe foods
