Hi mommies, we are going for staycation soon for few days. Do you guys bring your LO baby foods? or just eat what ever at the restaurant? My LO eats mostly pureed homecook meal. Im not sure if it travels well . we do have the baby food in a jar but mostly are fruits and veggies only. She eats rice, chicken, fish with veggies ( all pureed)

If you are on purées or extra soft foods I would not rely on restaurants. They usually do not have things on hand to prepare them properly. I would bring whatever you can

My baby mostly just eats what I eat, but I did bring him frozen purées and I filled a few of those haakaa pouches for the car ride (it was 7 hours). I also packed some snacks like puffs and yogurt bites.

where can i buy those pouches

I agree with some of the other comments, if you’re solely doing purées, I would just bring your own. But if your babies starting to be introduced into soft solids, then I would just look at the menu before you go to see if they have stuff that would work. We skipped purées completely, and just went straight to soft salads and I would get steamed broccoli, and just like smashed it a tiny bit but not like purée it. And I would get pasta, but ask them to boil it a little bit longer so it was a little extra soft.

yeah definitely

Soft solids*

Baby breeza pouches are good to fill too. :)

We're going on vacation next week and ordered online Once Upon Farm pouches and Meals from the local Target and had my MIL pick up so the baby has food while we're there. 😊
