I was exclusively breastfeeding until a fee weeks ago and now am giving my baby the bottle. I'm finding however he is drinking really hard from the bottle but struggling to get the milk out. He's on teat 3s and there are no blockages in the teat but I just don't understand how he isn't getting much milk. We've resorted to squeezing the bottle in his mouth whilst he is drinking to get the milk in. We are using the tommie tippee closer to nature bottles. Any tips or bottle recommendations?

I think you might be better with MAM bottles and a size 1 teat. Size 3 might be too fast flow for a baby who is used to feeding from the breast xx

Is the bottle too full? If there isn’t enough air it might not flow out as easily

We like the evenflo balance and pigeon bottle with a slower flow personally but ours sucks them down. Might take a little practice 🤷🏽♀️

A lot of lactation consultants recommend bottles like Dr.Brown or Lansinoh due to the nipple shape. That being said, you might as well start trying to get baby to drink directly from a cup or a spoon.
