What are you giving to your babys for reflux? I’ve tried Gaviscon and it worked for while. Now I’m giving Lansoprazole, but he is still struggling. It’s so hard to watch it and there’s nothing I can do. He is still spitting huge amounts every time.
* I’m holding him for at least 20 min after feds
* His cot has a book underneath to keep an angle
* He only wears bodysuits as trousers would add pressure to his tummy
Any advice?

Hey, we use Omeprazole, she still spits up but it’s nowhere near as much as it would be if she wasn’t on it. I tried to wean her off and the difference was insane it’s definitely helping her, maybe try that?

We are struggling here. Just started with Gaviscon from today.
How long did gaviscon work for your little one?

Make sure the lansoprazole is given in the morning at least 30 mins before food.
Pace feed- feed as sat up as possible, bottle horizontal, regular breaks, and burping during and after. We hold up well past an hour on lansoprazole and still get bad spit up. But before it was projectile!

Carobel thickener might help- for us our baby didn't get on with it, but see lots saying it helps.

Carobel, a thicker formula, omeprazole. Also in agreement with another comment about feeding baby upright, keep the bottle horizontal, have a break/burp baby every few mins/oz. Not sure how much and often you feed, but might be worth making your feeds closer together to prevent baby from being too hungry and chugging! X

Omeprazole too and we are using a thicker milk. Still spitting up a bit sometimes but wayyyy better! Also, I feed her more often and smaller amounts. X

Carobel has worked really well for us
