Trying to get pregnant after depo.

I came off the depo injection in April and I've yet to see my period. I've been having cramps in my back and lower stomach also sore boobs. When I came off it first time my periods only took 2 months to come back, can anyone give me some pointers please 🙏.

I’m not sure there’s any pointers to give. Can take a year for your periods to return unfortunately x

I think I read the depo takes a while to wear off. When I got off it thought it would take me a long time to get pregnant, took 3 months to get pregnant. I took flo gummies not sure if that help me to get back on track

I can't understand the cramping though and sore boobs? But yeah I suppose I was getting my hopes up as last time my periods came back after 2 months. X

I got pregnant on the depo shot (never got my period on it either) and now I have a 10 year old from that 💁‍♀️

What was your symptoms? I'm struggling with tracking for ovulation as I don't know when it's due etc 🙈x

You could ask your doctor, I was on depo for 4 years, it really messed me up and I had no period the whole time. It finally came back maybe 5 months after. It was hard for us to get pregnant after that but we paid attention to when I was ovulating and finally got pregnant. Everyone’s body’s are different, depending on how long you had it for it will take some time for your body to adjust without it

It takes time. And the longer you’ve been on it the longer it can take. The first time I came off of it it took 15 months to ovulate for the first time. And that was after taking clomid. This time I was due for my shot first week of June but skipped it and got my period in the very beginning of September. So maybe 6 months later.

it can take up to 2 actually. Took me 15 months the first time. Some women take even longer than 2

usually 1. Like I said ‘it can’ take a year. However I am very aware everyone’s different

It took a total of 18 months for my period to come back.. but it also gave me pcos from being on it for so long…

how long were u on it

A total of 8 years.. I was put on it as a teenager for 6 years then went back on for a year after my son ( 10 years ago) then another year after my daughter was born (5 years ago)
But I’ve also been on basically every bc option there is too and nothing works for me..

Bad friendships after baby

I’ve had a long distance friendship since 2008 (met at a university study abroad program) and we’ve visited each other at least once a year, traveled together, she met my entire family. We were close. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding 4 years ago. She was one of the first I told I was pregnant.
I invited her to my baby shower, which she couldn’t make, but she said she sent us a gift. I never received anything, which was fine (I honestly didn’t even realize it because life is chaotic a month before your due date).
When my son was born, we posted an announcement on Instagram which she commented “congrats guys!” And I never heard back from her.
I sent her a photo of us on Christmas to say merry Christmas. I texted her on her birthday months later, she text me on my birthday. But that’s it. She has never once asked how I’m adjusting to mom life or how my son is doing.

Am I being petty for refusing to reach out to her after all this? There’s been zero communication, even on social media. I don’t understand what changed besides me having a kid, or not thanking her for this gift she supposedly sent. I’ve just been super hurt that my entire world has changed with a baby, and my supposed best friend ghosted me.

What would you do?

If your man provided for you and the family eg. Paid the rent/mortgage, all the bills, food shop, children's things/activities, and gave you some money to pay for your needs, would you choose to go out to work or would you be a stay at home mum?

Specifically to mums with children under the age of 5.

Before having children, my partner told me it would be totally up to me if I wanted to return to work after having children but I didn't have to if I didn't want to/wasn't ready. I went back after maternity leave but I missed my child and quit my job to stay home. My partner takes care of everything financially so I am currently a SAHM until further notice.

I'm just curious to know what other mums would choose?
