Hey y’all! My pediatrician just recommended to me today to start my four month old so. On baby cereal and then onto jar food! I’m so nervous he is going to choke or something🤣 does anyone have advice?!

Baby rice or porridge is a great way to start. I started my little one on baby rice at the age of 4 months I was also petrified of choking but I promise when you see how excited they are, and their mouth wide open for that food all the worries melt away!! Good luck mama xx

Check out baby led weaning. Just remember gagging is not choking. It is scary but they had a reflex too that helps them cough up the food too. It's really simple to start with mush foods too like banana and strawberry mixed in oatmeal

My LO was not a big fan of purées and started with baby led weaning! My pediatrician recommended solid starts app & it’s been soooo helpful! They will naturally gag bc its a not what they used! I wish i have tips on how to not panic everytime they make a sound or simply breathing lol but it’s soooo much fun seeing them try out different food
