I’m starting to wrap my mind around selling my rental property I’ve had for 10 years. I stand to make about $150k assuming the market is stable for the next 6 months or so.
I need to figure out a way to invest this $ so I can live off of it. My rental property isn’t making enough money for me to live off of anymore.
What would you do??

Invest in the stock market! It keeps up with inflation unlike bonds and savings accounts

I would put it in an annuity.
Atlanta, GA USA
I’ll look into that. Can I withdraw from that?
my hubs plays in the stock market - I’m not impressed 🥴 plus I gotta be able to make withdrawals and those earnings taxes suck

I would get another rental property

Nobody wins in the stockmarket except brokers. You would get inflation, if that, and possibly lose it all in a crash. Gold, however, is worth something and will increase with inflation. I recommend buying gold from banks or real gold coins (minted/proof) online and stick it all in a safe. You can stick it in a bank too or just somewhere safe. Stockmarkets do not protect against hyperinflation. Gold does. Silver too.

You could also buy land (tangible asset) and create a solar or wind farm. Companies will lease out your land to put their windmills on it and you can make $80k/yr/windmill. I'd read into it. Plus you get some nice tax breaks.
