Agree with Nicola that every baby is different, come from a practitioner side boys tend to take longer to develop things and can ge quite lazy like my LB, he is very lazy with certain things😂

100% agree with the above. Prime example is my own kids, I have 5. I really can't remember the 1st 2, but my 3rd was smiling and cooing from 3 weeks, my youngest, the same. But my 4th, nothing. It's like that girl hated me, she just stared at me like a I was losing the plot every time I did anything to try to make her smile. We got it out of her eventually, and truth be told she's the happiest one of the lot, the cleverest, cheekiest and most calculated little rogue ever. She has everyone wrapped around her finger. So don't panic, it'll come, he's just waiting it out for you to do something extra amusing 😜 xx

Parenting the second time round feels so much easier because you're parenting with hindsight too. It is so easy to worry when will baby do xyz but they will all do it in their own time. When they're starting school no one will ask when they had their first smile or first steps. My first wasn't smiling by her 6 week check despite her having my absolute undivided attention yet my 2nd was smiling at 3 weeks yet he has so much time waiting while we chase the 2 year old round 😅 xx
