I really want to breast feed my baby but I have inverted nipples and I’m not sure if I can. I know they have nipple shields but my thing is when I squeeze on them the go in instead of popping out. Will I be able to breastfeed. This is something that’s been weighing heavy on my mind?

I had a little check about on Google and it says many women with fat or inverted nappies find they breastfeed perfectly fine but others may require extra help
Definitely ready out to your midwife because they'll be able to arrange help, whether its via them or a lactation specialist x

Most hospitals have a lactation specialist available instead of paying online like most people offer (which pisses me off cause we need help why are we paying just to know how to feed our kids) but yeah see one of them or maybe try see how they are when you’re pumping. Also latching wise for baby they should have the whole nipple in their mouths and a bit of the areole (depending on the size of it cause we all come different) and bubba should have the tongue on the bottom of nipples (this is some of the tips I was taught by my friend who’s now a trained midwife.
