Hello ladies ! I’m just curious to see how many ounces your baby is taking of milk ???
I give baby formula and he’s at 5 ounces but I’m starting to think 5 isn’t enough for him . He will be 4 months on 14th and last visit he was 14 pounds . Also I haven’t added anything to his bottle but should I ? I heard it’s better to just ween them of and start on baby foods and solids . Any experience, suggestions, or thoughts ???

he cries each time now when I’m done feeling him and it’s like he almost angry at me that it’s all gone . I’ll attempt to give him the empty bottle to see if he latches onto the nipple I’m like he wants more even though I don’t give him more .
He’s not being able to sit unassisted yet , I mean I can have him sit on his own but with pillows and other things so he’s not rolling over

Try baby cereal it's for support sitters. That might help my LO was the same way

Tbh if he wants more, give him more! My girl eats 4 ounces but occasionally she will eat 6-7oz and she will let me know she’s still hungry.

My boy is 4 months and takes ~6-7 oz per feed. He only gets formula once or twice a day but I mix 7-14 oz in the morning so I can just give him a couple oz at a time. He'll need formula until he's at least 1, but if he's able to sit in a highchair, and shows interest in food, you can start adding in stage 1 baby foods as early as 4 months. (I'd wait until you get the go ahead and info from your pediatrician)

My girl takes 5 oz each feed, except for her morning feed and last feed of the day. Try adding a little more on those 2 feeds to see if that helps any.

My baby will be 4 months on the 21st. I think she is about to permanently up her intake to 5 ounces because the last 2 days or so she has been drinking like almost 7 ounces in the middle of the Igor and at her dinner feeds she wants like 5-6 ounces. She used to only take 4 ounces each feeding

Babies still need formula or breast milk until at least one years old so you shouldn't ween him off completely. If your doctor is not concerned about his weight and baby seems content then it is enough. You can add rice cereal or oat cereal to the formula to make it a little thicker if you want to it will keep him fuller longer. Babies at 4 months should be eating anywhere from 4 to 6 ounces every 3 to 4 hours..... according to Google. I combi feed so I feed on demand. And I have started small amounts of baby food. He seems to still want milk after.
You can always ask your pediatrician if your unsure as well.

Hearing all this info really help me . Thank you moms 🥰🥰

My daughters is 4 months and she drinks 6oz every 2-3 hours. She is 16lbs happy and healthy!

My little guy just turned 4 months the other day. He was having 6 oz bottles but we ended up moving him back to 5 due to possibly eating too much he was spitting up some after eating. We also add oatmeal in 3 of his formula bottles, and it helps him.

how old is your baby?

4 months as of the 2nd

do you use the variable nipple flow or just the medium flow/ 3-6 month nipple flow? I tried to put a tiny amount of baby oatmeal in my daughter’s bottle but it takes her forever to drink it and she has the medium flow so curious if we should try the variable flow. How much of the oatmeal do you put in your baby’s bottle and with how many ounces of formula?
